I was a bit sceptical virtually this conversion, I followed the directions and placed the converted Lima New Due south Wales Government Railways C38 on the test rails rollers, hooked it up to the bench ability supply and started the voltage from 0 and the motor started to plow at ane.4 volts (it was seven volts with the Lima motor) and increased speed smoothly up to 12 volts. I run DCC and will fix the high voltage to almost 8. You accept saved this iconic model from the display shelf to leading its pride and joy The Southern Aurora on my layout.
